After conferring with our venue, we have a tentative schedule for our March classes when we come back to Sacramento that month.
Luxurious Spa Products
March 14th, 9:00am to 11:00
$39 class fee, $20 materials fee
This will be a revamp of our Learning Exchange spa class, with a new recipe or two. We'll be posting exact details of what we make in this class as we get the details hammered out.
Cold Process Soapmaking
March 14th, 1:00pm to 4:00
$49 class fee, $20 materials fee
This is the "from scratch" method of soapmaking. You will learn the basics of how to make your own soap from basic ingredients and take home your own 2 lb batch of soap. Further description of this class is found on the Class List page of this blog.
Natural Cleaning Products
March 16th, 6:30pm to 8:30
$39 class fee, $20 materials fee
One of our most popular newer classes from the past year, this class will teach you the basics of using natural and basic ingredients to clean your home. Further description of this class is found on the Class List page of this blog.
Advanced Soapmaking Boot Camp
March 21st, 9:30am to 4:00pm
$269 for class fee and materials, $50 deposit due at signup
Back by popular demand is our full advanced soapmaking boot camp. Since this is an advanced class, Cold Process Soapmaking is a required prerequisite. If you have not yet taken cold process soapmaking and you are interested in this class, plan on attending the March 14th session to learn the basics first.
Advanced soapmaking boot camp is an all day class that will teach you how to make things like hot process, milk soaps, advanced coloring and swirling techniques, how to create your own recipes, and more behind the chemistry of soapmaking. If interested in this class, please read over the entire details on the Advanced Soap Boot Camp page on this blog.
More specific information about location and how to sign up for these classes will be coming later. For now, if you'd like us to save you a seat, please send us an email to the address below and we will contact you to arrange payment for the class.
This is especially important if you are interested in the soapmaking boot camp, as space is always limited for that class, and the number of people we have sign up will determine the location we use for the class.
We look forward to seeing you all again!

Coming to Sacramento, Save the Date
Hello Students, Friends, and Fellow Crafters
I'm very excited to announce that Mom and I are tentatively planning a trip back to Sacramento this coming March. We were so disappointed we could not see you in October as we had originally planned due to our new work schedules, but we've both passed our initial probation, which means we now have the opportunity to see you once again.
Of course, we are not just coming for a visit, but also to teach several classes. Right now we are planning to possibly teach cold process soapmaking, an advanced soapmaking boot camp, natural cleaning supplies, and a spa/personal products class.
We are still ironing out further details and dates, but for right now we are planning for the second and third weekends in March. As we know more, we will be posting details here, and also sending details out to our email list. If you are not currently on our list and would like to be, send us an email using the form in the sidebar and we'll get your email address added.
We are both so looking forward to seeing all of you again!
